Hobart Bluff

Date: 9/30/15

Hike Difficulty: easy

Hike Length: 3 mi RT

Elevation Gain: 580 ft

My Rating (out of 5): 4.5 – This was a nice hike to do on a cool, cloudy day. Although the trail was short, Grace and I enjoyed exploring the rock outcroppings and climbing to the top. The sky was just as beautiful as the landscape.

It was easy to get here seeing as I had already driven by the parking lot going to Soda Mountain. I might come back to this trailhead and hike along the PCT sometime and explore some more.

On a side note, I saw 15+ deer in a matter of about 30 seconds while driving back down Soda Mountain Road. A few of them were being pursued by a coyote, which was cool to see.
