Watson Falls and Toketee Falls

This is going to be a little bit different because I’m combining several short waterfall hikes into one post. First, Watson Falls —

Date: 8/5/16
Hike Difficulty: easy
Hike Length: 0.8 RT
Elevation Gain: 220 ft
Height of Falls: 272 ft (according to most sources)
Time: 27 mins

My Rating (out of 5): 5.0 – My Aunt Sherry and mom came to visit me in Southern Oregon, so we had to go visit waterfalls, especially since I hadn’t ever seen these ones. We saw Watson, Toketee, Whitehorse, and Clearwater. Watson was pretty amazing, at 3rd highest in the state!

And now, Toketee Falls —

Date: 8/5/16
Hike Difficulty: easy
Hike Length: 0.94 RT
Elevation Gain: 167 ft
Height of Falls: 113 ft
Time: 47 mins

My Rating (out of 5): 5.0 – We were a little more worn out by this point in the afternoon. We’d done Crater Lake, walking around at several different stopping points, before the waterfalls. Regardless of the grumpiness of my companions, we persevered and made it to Toketee Falls, which made me want to jump in and take a dip. I didn’t and should have.

We did those other two small waterfalls, Whitehorse and Clearwater, so here they are, too. They didn’t require a hike, really. It was a great way to end off the day, since we were exhausted.
