My Rating (out of 5): 4.5 ā€“ Last time I did a long hike at Crater Lake was last year when I did Mount Scott. It kicked my butt, but it made for some pretty unbeatable views. When my brother suggested climbing Garfield Peak (especially after the amount of activity we’ve had hiking the last few days), I wasn’t convinced. But we took off up the trail anyway, which turned out to be a good idea. This somewhat short hike gives a good view of Crater Lake without the elevation gain of Mount Scott.
